HOW TO APPLY:
1) Send us an email to indicate your interest in working as a counselor this summer: decathlonsportsclub@gmail.com
In the "Subject" line of the email please include:
a) your full name
b) the words: "Interested in Counselor Position."
2) We will then email you a counselor application. When you have completed the application, email it back to us. We will contact you shortly after receiving your application to let you know what our staffing needs are, whether you've been selected for an interview, etc.
3) Interviews are held throughout the late winter and spring. Scheduling is quite flexible (weekends, evenings, spring break, etc.) Interviews are typically held on at our campsite in Woodside. Video (Skype) interviews are also possible but not preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Counselors lead a group of 16 children of the same gender and age. One or two junior counselors will assist you each day depending on the age of your campers. Your group remains together, under your leadership, for the full 4 week session. This continuity allows you to learn and address the strengths and weaknesses of each child and helps build those strong social bonds that will make camp so memorable for your campers.
