Camp StaffThe teachers, coaches, and university and high school student/athletes that make up our staff are the heart of our camp program. Many of our staff are former campers. Most return for multiple summers, working their way from junior counselor to counselor. This creates the wonderful sense of community, continuity, and tradition that sets our program apart. All our counselors and senior staff are CPR and First Aid certified. Our entire staff, from JCITs to Directors, are extremely motivated and dedicated to create and maintain a fun, safe, educational, supportive, positive camp environment. There is one staff member for every 6 or 7 children in our program.

| Scott Berridge Scott is the founder of our Los Altos program and has been with Decathlon since its inception in 1981. Scott is a father of four. He holds a B.S. in Human Performance from San Jose State University (‘80) and currently teaches physical education and coaches youth basketball. |

| Linda Berridge Linda runs the show behind-the-scenes at Decathlon. Data entry, phones, planning field trips, designing t-shirts, shopping for camp barbeques, payroll. Camp would grind to a halt without her help. She frees up time for Rich and Scott so they can take care of the daily camp operations and work on their spectacular array of wiffle ball pitches....including the reverse spin anti- gravity curveball.

| Neal Swank This will be Neal's 13th consective summer working at the Decathlon Sports Club, his 7th as a director. Neal, proud father of two, earned his BA at UC Davis and now teaches history at St. Francis High and also coaches freshman football and baseball. |
